Tipped Employees Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

In 2011, the Wage and Hour Division enforced a final rule explaining that a tip is the sole property of the tipped employee regardless of whether the employer takes a tip credit. It also states that the employer cannot take an employee’s tips, whether or not it has taken a tip credit, except as a credit against its minimum wage obligations to the employee or a valid tip pool.

The “Members-Helping-Members” Program of the Thai American Chamber of Commerce of California (TCCC) is designed to give back to members some tangible benefits as well as to promote businesses of our members. It is part of the efforts to create mutual, intra-community assistances.

The program is open to TCCC’s corporate members, namely Patron, Benefactor, Regular Corporate, SME I and SME II, who are willing to offer discounts on their products and services.

สภาหอการค้าไทยอเมริกันฯ นำโดยคุณน้อย วนิดา ศรีวะรมย์ กรรมการฝ่ายกิจการร้านอาหาร จัดชั้นเรียน Food handler certification class ในวันศุกร์ที่ 9 ธันวาคม 2011 ที่ร้านไทยนคร Garden Grove ผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมชั้นเรียนทั้งหมด 22 ท่าน นักเรียนได้รับความรู้ในเรื่อง Food Safety เเละได้ประกาศนียบัตรหลังจบชั้นเรียนด้วย
